WIRE SAW

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire saw which can stably supply a working liquid during cutting.SOLUTION: A wire saw 1 cuts a work-piece W while pressing the work-piece from above. The wire saw 1 is equipped with wire groups 3a which are formed between plural wire guides 2 and are parallel to one another, a pair of wire feeding device 5, 6, a work-piece holding part 7 which presses thew work-piece W to the wire groups 3a, a liquid supply device 8, a processing control device 9, etc. The liquid supply device 8 has a flow-down device 81 which drops a working liquid onto the wire group 3a from the side of the work-piece W pressed to the wire groups 3a, a drive unit 82 which displaces the flow-down device 81, and a displacement control device 83 which controls the drive unit 82. The displacement control device 83 controls the drive unit 82 in cooperation with the processing control device 9 whereby a position, at which the working liquid drops, is regulated according to the cut state of the work-piece W.
