Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film capable of achieving isotropy relating to viewing angles.SOLUTION: An optical film includes: a base film 1 having a first and second major surfaces opposing to each other; a deflection element layer 2 having a plurality of deflection elements 3 which are disposed on the first major surface, adjoining to each other and extending in a first direction; and an optical element layer 4 having a plurality of optical elements 5 which are disposed on the second major surface, adjoining to each other and extending in a second direction. The deflecting elements 3 are disposed at intervals ranging from 3 μm to 50 μm; and its cross section cut along the orthogonal direction to the first direction is a triangle having a first and second inclined surfaces and a height of 1.5 μm to 90 μm, in which angles of the first and second inclined surfaces with respect to the normal line of the first major surface are in the ranges from 5 degrees to 40 degrees and from 25 degrees to 45 degrees, respectively. The optical element 5 is disposed at intervals ranging from 5 μm to 50 μm; and its cross section cut along the orthogonal direction to one direction is a triangle having a height of 0.2 μm to 15 μm, in which angle difference of inclined surfaces with respect to the normal line of the second major surface is 3 degrees or less, and the apex angle ranges from 150 degrees to 155 degrees.
