UMBRELLA DRAINER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an umbrella drainer capable of more effectively draining an umbrella with the use of a water repellent function of an umbrella fabric by effectively giving an impact on the umbrella.SOLUTION: In an umbrella drainer 1, an umbrella guide passage 14 for guiding an umbrella 5 with a ferrule 13 facing down in the walking direction of a person is formed between a pair of ferrule hitting members 2, 2. In the umbrella drainer 1, the pair of ferrule hitting members 2, 2 are attached onto a base 4 so as to allow the ferrule 13 of the umbrella 5 to be hit on without having contact with a hand side 15 of the umbrella 5. The one and the other between the pair of ferrule hitting members 2, 2 are separately arranged in the umbrella drainer 1, to thereby allow the ferrule 13 to be hit on the one and the other between the pair of ferrule hitting members 2, 2 alternately when the umbrella 5 is swung while the ferrule 13 is positioned inside the umbrella guide passage 14.
