Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing L-cysteine or cysteine-related substance or mixture thereof by developing a novel technology to improve bacterial L-cysteine-producing ability.SOLUTION: In this method, a species of Enterobacteriaceae having L-cysteine-producing ability and modified to express a gene selected from the group consisting of ygaZH gene and ychE gene at an increased level in comparison with the non-modified strain is cultured in a culture medium, and from the culture medium L-cysteine or cysteine-related substance or mixture thereof is collected to produce L-cysteine or cysteine-related substance or mixture thereof.
