Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having high weight energy density far exceeding the weight energy density of conventional secondary batteries.SOLUTION: In a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery including an electrolyte layer 3 and a positive electrode 2 and a negative electrode 4 provided so as to sandwich the electrolyte layer, the positive electrode 2 includes (a) a conductive polymer and (b) a phosphorous-containing polymer, and the negative electrode 4 includes base metal or a material capable of inserting/desorbing base metal ions.
