MASSAGE MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage machine capable of performing effective pelvic massage to a person to be treated in a sitting posture.SOLUTION: A massage machine includes: a seat section; and a backrest section 12 set to a rear part of the seat section and can perform massage to a person to be treated in a sitting posture. The backrest section is provided with a means 39 for pressing the person to be treated from her (his) back side. The backrest section is set to the rear part of the seat section to flexibly recline via a pivot. The massage machine also includes: control means 4 for controlling each of a reclining operation by the backrest section and a pressing operation by the pressing means to perform pelvis massage. The control means performs an operation to bring the pelvis to tilt forward by pressing the center part of her (his) back with the backrest section raised up to make her (him) take such a posture as to forcibly lean back the body, and an operation to bring the pelvis to tilt backward by pressing the vicinity of the blade bones of her (his) back with the backrest section raised up to make her (him) take such a posture as to forcibly curl up the body, so as to relax the pelvis.
