PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease quantity of work necessary for registering a remotely-controlled device.SOLUTION: An information processing device managed via a network comprises: an acquisition section for acquiring position information indicating a position where the information processing device is placed; a reference section for using the position information to make a reference about whether registration for the management can be accepted or not; and a registration section for requesting the registration when a response to the reference indicates that the registration can be accepted. The information processing device receives the response indicating that the registration can be accepted when the position information represents predetermined position information which is previously registered as a position where the information processing device can be placed.
