PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrifier capable of efficiently removing an impurity in a frame.SOLUTION: An electrifier 100 includes a discharge electrode 110 configured so as to electrify a photoreceptor drum 61 by corona discharge, a grid electrode 120, a pair of shield electrodes 130 and 140, a frame 150 having a pair of side walls 151 and 152, an impurity removing member 170 provided in at least a part of the inner surface of the frame 150 and configured so as to remove the impurity entering between the pair of side walls 151 and 152, and an air flow generating electrode 160 arranged on the side opposite to the side where the discharge electrode 110 is arranged across the grid electrode 120 and configured so that a voltage lower than a voltage applied to the grid electrode 120 is applied. At least a part of the impurity removing member 170 is provided on the same side as the air flow generating electrode 160, in the facing direction of the pair of shield electrodes 130 and 140.
