Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce wind noise, and to improve efficiency of an indoor unit by improving a velocity distribution of air flowing into a heat exchanger.SOLUTION: In an air conditioner including an indoor unit 1 configured to accommodate a centrifugal blower 60 and a heat exchanger 70 arranged outside of the centrifugal blower in a casing 10, the heat exchanger is formed into a generally polygonal shape surrounding the centrifugal blower. Plate members 110 protruding from the heat exchanger to the centrifugal blower are provided in predetermined portions in which the heat exchanger is proximate to the centrifugal fan except for region corresponding to diffusers 62 of the centrifugal blower, respectively. Each of the plate members 110 may include a first member 111 and a second member 112 separate from each other in an axial direction of the centrifugal blower so as to put each discharge port of the centrifugal blower therebetween.
