Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle drive unit which can further reduce assembling man-hours by setting an assembling direction to one direction.SOLUTION: The vehicle drive unit comprises: a front-side pulley 12; a support pin 30 having a flange 33 for locking the movement of the front-side pulley 12 to one side of the axial direction, and having a circumferential groove 36 formed at a tip which penetrates the front-side pulley 12; a C-ring 45 supported so as to be contractible in diameter to the radial direction with respect to the circumferential groove 36; and a support member 2 having an attachment hole 21 which the tip of the support pin 30 penetrates, and having an inward flange 22 whose inside diameter is equal to or larger than an outside diameter of the C-ring 45 which is protrusively arranged at the attachment hole 21, and elastically deformed so as to be contracted in diameter in the circumferential groove 36, and smaller than an outside diameter of the C-ring 45 which is elastically recovered so as to be expanded in diameter.
