Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method for a heat insulation structure of a low temperature tank, the method that can reduce labor for mounting heat insulation panels on the outer surface of the low temperature tank, and can improve heat insulation performance with respect to the low temperature tank.SOLUTION: A construction method is provided for a heat insulation structure of a low temperature tank including a plurality of heat insulation panels 1 mounted on the outer surface of the low temperature tank 2, and a joint filler 12 sandwiched between side surfaces in parallel to the thickness direction of the heat insulation panels 1. The method includes: a step of manufacturing a packaged joint filler 16 by compressing and sealing the joint filler 12 having elasticity using a packaging sheet 17 with a friction coefficient smaller than that of the joint filler 12; a heat insulation panel mounting step of mounting the plurality of heat insulation panels 1 on the outer surface of the low temperature tank 2 so that the packaged joint filler 16 may be disposed between the side surfaces of the heat insulation panels 1 adjacent to each other; and a packaging sheet opening step of opening a packaging sheet 17 of the packaged joint filler 16 mounted between the side surfaces of the heat insulation panels 1.
