Thereby, final basic assist control amount Iasbecomes 0, and application of assist force to a steering system is stopped. Therefore, occurrence factor of unintended steering behavior such as self-excited oscillation, namely opposite assist, which is repeated is stopped. Thereby steering behavior is improved.
