Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for water quality prediction and a method for water quality prediction capable of predicting water quality according to a water treatment facility or the like selected by users.SOLUTION: An apparatus for water quality prediction comprises a water treatment facility database 12 to store facility performance information specifying performance of a water treatment facility for the treatment of water to be treated; a chemical feed model database 13 to store chemical reaction formula information specifying a chemical reaction caused by injecting a chemical agent into water to be treated, a calculation unit 15 of the water to be treated and chemical feed to calculate an injection amount of a chemical agent corresponding to the chemical feed model and water quality after treatment, based on the facility performance information on the water treatment facility selected via an input device 2 and the chemical reaction formula information on a selected chemical feed model; and a display control unit 17 to display raw water information, the facility performance information on the selected water treatment facility, the selected chemical feed model, and calculation results obtained by the calculation unit 15 of the water to be treated and chemical feed at least on a display device 3.
