BROADCAST RECEIVER, RECORDER AND RECORDING METHOD OF RECORDING RESERVATION PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a self-device to hold information on a recording reservation program and to control a recording apparatus, and to reduce trouble of operation by a user when the recording reservation program is recorded in the recording apparatus in a broadcast receiver, a reorder and a recording method of the recording reservation program.SOLUTION: When broadcast of a recording reservation program is started (S11), a TV receiver determines whether TV programs which can simultaneously be recorded and whose number is maximum are already in the middle of recording or not (S12). When the maximum number of TV programs is already in the middle of recording (YES in S13), a command is transmitted to a BD recorder (S14). When the BD recorder receives the command, it starts recording of the recording reservation program (S15). When it becomes broadcast end time of the recording reservation program, the TV receiver transmits a command to the BD recorder (S16), and the BD recorder stops recording of the recording reservation program (S17).
