Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-capacity nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery having good cycle characteristics.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery comprises an electrode structure. The electrode structure has: a negative electrode plate having a negative electrode core, and a negative electrode active material layer which is formed on the negative electrode core and includes a negative electrode active material and a binding agent; and a positive electrode plate. The negative electrode active material has silicon oxide particles, and carbonaceous material particles. The mass percentage of the silicon oxide particles to the total mass of the negative electrode active material is 1-20%. In the silicon oxide particles, the ratio O/Si of oxygen atoms to silicon atoms is 0.5-1.5. The negative electrode core has a tensile strength of 3.0 N/mm or less.
