METHOD FOR PRODUCING CORE-SHELL PARTICLES AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING HOLLOW PARTICLES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of stably producing core-shell particles or hollow particles having favorable shapes even at a low treatment temperature.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing core-shell particles comprising, in a reaction solution including water, core particles, and a metal oxide precursor, a step of subjecting the precursor to hydrolysis and a dehydration condensation reaction and forming a coating layer consisting of the metal oxide on the surface of the core particles, wherein the liquid temperature of the reaction solution is set at 0 to 40°C; positively charged polymer particles are used as the core particles; a pH adjuster is included in the reaction solution so that, at the liquid temperature of the reaction solution, a pH of the reaction solution becomes higher than the isoelectric point of the metal oxide. Also provided is a method for manufacturing hollow particles including a step of heating the obtained core-shell particles and decomposing and removing the core particles.
