Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation device capable, on an occasion for topping a rubber atop a steel cord, of improving the topping accuracy.SOLUTION: In an insulation device 1 possessing a rubber flow channel 2 through which an unvulcanized rubber streams and topping a rubber atop a steel cord 4 conveyed across this rubber flow channel 2, a supply port 21 for supplying a rubber into the rubber flow channel 2 and a discharge port 22 for discharging a rubber remaining within the rubber flow channel 2 without having been consumed for topping are furnished. The discharge port 22 is configured on the downstream side of the conveyance direction 4D of the steel cord 4 in relation to the supply port 21.
