Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a voltage headroom loss due to a shunt resistor.SOLUTION: A motor drive device proposed comprises: a drive section including a first transistor section and a second transistor section coupled in parallel between a driving power supply end and a ground, where the first transistor section has a first PMOS transistor and a first NMOS transistor coupled in series between the driving power supply end and the ground, the second transistor section has a second PMOS transistor and a second NMOS transistor coupled in series between the driving power supply end and the ground, and a motor is coupled to the junction of the first PMOS transistor and the first NMOS transistor and the junction of the second PMOS transistor and the second NMOS transistor, and configured to switch the first and second transistor sections to drive the motor; and a detection section for detecting a current from the junction of the PMOS transistor and the NMOS transistor of at least one of the first and second transistor sections.
