PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens drive apparatus and an optical pickup device capable of suppressing an influence of heat on an objective lens without adding any component such as a thermal conductivity improvement member.SOLUTION: The objective lens drive apparatus 51 includes: an objective lens 2a; a lens holder 1 capable of moving in a focus direction and in a tracking direction while holding the lens; and at least one coil 3a, 3b, 4a attached to the lens holder 1. The objective lens 2a is adhered to the lens holder 1 at a plurality of lens adhesion parts 1a-1d disposed along a peripheral part of the lens. In the lens holder 1, an aperture 23a for bypassing a heat transfer path from a coil 4a which is the nearest to the objective lens 2a of at least one coil 3a, 3b, 4a and lens adhesion parts 1a, 1b which are the nearest to the coil 4a of the plurality of coil adhesion parts 1a-1d is formed between the coil 4a and the lens adhesion parts 1a, 1b.
