PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work apparatus which can work without fatigue even at a high rotating speed and can easily work at various low rotating speeds.SOLUTION: An actuating element is supported movably in a case and can be displaced from a zero position 74 to a maximum position in an actuating direction 57. An intermediate stopper acts between the zero position 74 and the maximum position. The position of the intermediate stopper is adjustable via an adjustment element 17. After reaching the intermediate stopper, the actuating element can be actuated further up to the maximum position. When the actuating element reaches the intermediate stopper, an operating force increases for further actuating the actuating element. After the actuating element gets over the intermediate stopper, the operating force decreases again when the actuating element is further actuated in the actuating direction 57.
