Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front fork capable of protecting an oil seal by surely scraping off a foreign matter adhered to an inner tube without obstructing smooth movement of the inner tube relative to an outer tube.SOLUTION: To attain the purpose described above, according to problem solving means of the invention, a front fork F comprises: a fork body 1 having an outer tube 2 and an inner tube 3 which is inserted in the outer tube 2 to be relatively movable in an axial direction; a damper D contained in the fork body 1 and suppressing relative movement between the outer tube 2 and the inner tube 3; biasing means AS biasing the fork body 1 in an extension direction all the time; and an annular dust seal 4 and the oil seal 5 which are held by the outer tube 2 and slidingly contact the outer periphery of the inner tube 3. In the front fork, between the dust seal and the oil seal 5, a C-shaped scraper is provided for slidingly contacting the outer periphery of the inner tube 3.
