EXHAUST MUFFLER OF ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust muffler of an engine capable of being easily assembled without requiring high accuracy.SOLUTION: An exhaust muffler of an engine includes a muffler body 1 composed of a cylindrical body 2, and first and second end walls 3, 4, a partitioning wall 18 for partitioning the inside of the muffler body 1 into a plurality of muffling chambers 15, 16, a muffling pipe 23 supported by the partitioning wall 18 while penetrating therethrough, and an inlet pipe 8 supported by a side wall of the muffler body 1 while penetrating therethrough, and communicated with the muffling pipe 23. The body 2 is constituted by fitting and welding first and second body portions 2a, 2b divided in the axial direction to each other; the partitioning wall 18 is disposed on the second body portion 2b; the inlet pipe 8 is disposed on the first body portion 2a; the inlet pipe 8 and the muffling pipe 23 are communicated through an L-shaped pipe 27; one end portion of the L-shaped pipe 27 is welded to the muffling pipe 23; and the other end portion thereof is fitted to the inlet pipe 8.
