Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot arm mounting therein a force sensor in light of the protection of a robot arm against excessive external force and moment.SOLUTION: In a robot device, if a direction connecting a free end of a robot arm, a force sensor, and an end effector is assumed as a Z-axis direction, then first and second abutment portions face each other along an X-axis direction crossing the Z-axis direction, and the first and second abutment portions are distanced from each other so that a change in relative positions of the end effector and the robot arm to the X-axis direction is smaller than a limit of a distortion of the force sensor with respect to the X-axis direction.
