Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for core formation which expands the degree of freedom of the shape of a core for a casting and allows simplification and miniaturization of the configuration of the apparatus by taking out a core for a casting without use of an ejector pin and a method of producing a core for a casting.SOLUTION: A mold 100 for core formation includes a fixed side mold 110 and a movable side mold 120 moving relative to the fixed side mold 110. In the fixed side mold 110 and the movable side mold 120, a fixed side cavity 111 and a movable side cavity 121 for forming a core 90 for a casting are formed, respectively. The movable cavity 121 is composed of a core formation portion 121a and a baseboard formation portion 121b. In the baseboard formation portion 121b, an undercut formation portion 122 is formed. The undercut formation portion 122 is a portion molding an undercut part 93 in a baseboard 92 of the core 90 for a casting and consists of a bolt 122a protruding from the wall surface of the baseboard formation portion 121b.
