PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: when a conventional dowel pin drill is used, plaster powder is scattered during drilling, causing a failure of the machine due to powder clogging and occupation of place by the out-of-order machine, and drilling holes for planting dowel pins accurately is difficult if a dental technician is unskilled in the drilling operation.SOLUTION: A simple drill holder for dental dowel pin drilling according to the present invention enables a dental technician or a dentist to surely drill a hole with a desired depth for planting a dental dowel pin on a relevant rear face of a test piece or a plaster model, without requiring skilled technique. In addition, when a hole for a dental dowel pin is drilled in a plaster-made test piece or the like by a drill attached to a dental handpiece, fingers are protected by a curvingly rising protective plate made of a rigid material, ensuring that drilling is carried out with security. Also the simple drill holder itself is not clogged by cutting dusts and is marketable more competitively than conventional products.
