Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "USB voltage drop compensation circuit" capable of performing appropriate voltage compensation control at all the time while flexibly responding to a change in a resistance value of a vehicle USB cable.SOLUTION: When power is supplied from an on-vehicle unit 100, switches SW1 and SW2 are changed over to connect a vehicle USB cable 400 to a resistor R2, and a resistance value of the vehicle USB cable 400 is detected. After the lapse of a predetermined time, the switches SW1 and SW2 are then changed over to connect the vehicle USB cable 400 to a portable device 300, and a voltage drop compensating operation is performed on the basis of the detected resistance value. Thus, each time power is supplied from the on-vehicle unit 100, the resistance value of the vehicle USB cable 400 is automatically detected and on the basis of the detected resistance value, boosting is performed only by an appropriate value.
