Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which can image a celestial body in the stationary state only by fixing the apparatus without using an equatorial telescope.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus having an imaging element movement mechanism which can move a subject image captured by an imaging optical system with a prescribed locus in a plane orthogonal to an optical axis of the imaging optical system, includes: input means for inputting positional information, imaging azimuth information and imaging height information of the imaging apparatus; focal distance input means for inputting focal distance information of the imaging optical system; and control means for calculating a movement locus of a celestial body image which is the subject image relatively moving with respect to an image circle of the imaging optical system due to the rotation of the earth from the inputted positional information, imaging azimuth information, imaging height information and focal distance information, and controlling drive of the imaging element movement mechanism on the basis of the result of calculation to maintain the position of the celestial body image on the imaging element constant. The control means starts calculating the movement locus of the celestial body image after a release switch provided in the imaging apparatus is turned on. |
