MANUFACTURING METHOD OF METAL PLATE RESISTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a metal plate resistor capable of easily improving resistance value precision.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a metal plate resistor includes: forming band-shaped insulation films 12 on front and rear sides of a band-shaped resistor 11; forming a plurality of feed holes 13 and through holes 14 at fixed intervals, respectively, in a part of the band-shaped resistor 11 where the band-shaped insulation films 12 are not formed; forming a plurality of cut holes 16 on a side surface 11b of the band-shaped resistor 11 which is positioned on an opposite side of the through holes 14 with the insulation films 12 interposed therebetween; forming notched parts 17 so as to be exposed in the cut holes 16 as needed in a length direction of the band-shaped resistor 11; and further, forming the cut holes 16 while feeding the band-shaped resistor 11 at a fixed speed with the feed holes 13 as criteria.
