PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radio equipment, an input/output unit, a radio unit and a radio equipment setup method, enabling reduction of equipment authentication to the possible extent and easy battery exchange with a maintained online state even during plant operation.SOLUTION: Radio equipment 1 includes a sensor unit 10 and a radio unit 20. The sensor unit 10 includes: an internal sensor 11a etc. for measuring a state amount in a process; a local communication unit 13 for local communication; and a power supply unit 15 for supplying power to the internal sensor 11a etc. and the local communication unit 13. The radio unit 20 includes: a radio communication unit 21; a local communication unit 23 for local communication with the local communication unit 13; and a power supply unit 25 for supplying power to the radio communication unit 21 and the local communication unit 23.
