PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image system enabling a user to capture a medical image from an image generation device even when a medical image management device is in a capturing standby state on the basis of an instruction to capture an image from another client terminal.SOLUTION: In a capturing standby state based on an instruction to capture an image from a client terminal 4A (step S3), when an image capturing button is depressed in a client terminal 4B (step S4), a medical image management device 2 notifies information that an online state of the client terminal 4A is being continued to the client terminal 4B (step S6). When an instruction to release the online state of the client terminal 4A is transmitted from the client terminal 4B (step S8), the medical image management device 2 releases the online state of the client terminal 4A (step S9), and enters a capturing standby state based on the instruction to capture the image from the client terminal 4B (step S11).
