RETRACTOR FOR SEAT BELT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retractor for a seat belt capable of suppressing occurrence of looseness in the circumferential and axial directions between a connection part formed at one end of a torsion bar and a take-up drum.SOLUTION: A retractor for vehicular seat belts comprises a take-up drum to be wound with webbing, a lock member rotating with the rotation of the take-up drum and stopped to rotate in the drawing direction of the webbing on emergency, a torsion bar arranged coaxially with the rotation shaft of the take-up drum, with a first connection part formed at one end of the torsion bar connected to the inside of the take-up drum in such a way as to be incapable of relative rotation and a second connection part formed at the other end of the torsion bar connected to the lock member in such a way as to be incapable of relative rotation and a fixing member attached in such a way as to come in contact with the outer peripheral part of the first connection part of the torsion bar from the outer peripheral part of the take-up drum and fixing the first connection part to the take-up drum in such a way as to be incapable of relative movement in the axial direction.
