METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CONCAVOCONVEX SHEET, AND NONWOVEN FABRIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a concavoconvex sheet capable of efficiently manufacturing a concavoconvex sheet having pleasant feel of touch, and a nonwoven fabric having pleasant feel of touch, excellent in strength and air permeability.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a concavoconvex sheet comprises running a raw fabric composed of a nonwoven fabric or a laminate containing a nonwoven fabric between two rolls having concavity and convexity and engaging each other. The raw fabric is run between the two rolls while one of the two rolls being heated at a temperature of 80°C or more and the other kept at lower than 40°C. When running through the two rolls, the raw fabric is brought into contact with convex parts of the respective two rolls, and not in contact with bottom parts of concave parts of the respective two rolls. The nonwoven fabric is a nonwoven fabric 1 having a concavoconvex structure, and has a plurality of convex parts 2 in which sectional shapes of both front and back surfaces are convex one side Za in a thickness direction, and has concave parts 3 positioned between the convex parts where fibers of the concave parts 2 has an average fiber diameter smaller than that of fibers of the convex parts 3, and has a distance between fibers shorter than that of convex parts 3.
