OPENING AND CLOSING OPERATION MECHANISM OF PLATFORM DOOR DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing operation mechanism of a platform door device, which enables the stable opening and closing operation of movable doors even when the stop position of a vehicle varies.SOLUTION: An opening and closing operation mechanism of a platform door device opens and closes movable doors of the platform door device which is arranged on a platform and includes a pair of door pockets and the movable doors opened and closed through the door pockets. The opening and closing operation mechanism includes: a first electrode body which is installed in the door pocket so as to extend in the longitudinal direction thereof and has flexibility; a second electrode body which is installed in the door pocket so as to extend in the longitudinal direction thereof and is arranged so as to face the first electrode body with a prescribed space therebetween; insulators which provide insulation between the end parts of the first electrode body and the second electrode body; and a pressing body which is arranged on the outer peripheral side of the first electrode body so as to extend in the longitudinal direction thereof and brings the first electrode body into contact with the second electrode body when pressed.
