METHOD OF MANUFACTURING LAMINATED-FIBER BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a laminated-fiber body, restraining variation in quality of the laminated-fiber body obtained by a fiber-laminating machine by restraining a jam of sheets in a defibrating machine to supply a pulp sheet always in a fixed amount per unit hour.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a laminated-fiber body, obtains the laminated-fiber body by supplying a pulp fiber obtained by defibrating a pulp sheet by a defibrating machine 13 together with an airflow to a fiber-laminating machine. The method includes, when supplying a second pulp sheet 2b to the defibrating machine 13 subsequently to a first pulp sheet 2a being supplied to the defibrating machine 13, drawing out the second pulp sheet 2b at a higher transport speed than the transport speed of the first pulp sheet 2a being supplied to the defibrating machine 13, and reducing the transport speed of the second pulp sheet 2b so that a leading end 2bt of the second pulp sheet follows a terminal end 1ae of the first pulp sheet, thereby allowing the leading end 2bt of the second pulp sheet to come into contact with or close to the terminal end 2ae of the first pulp sheet.
