INDWELLING NEEDLE ASSEMBLY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indwelling needle assembly allowing a protector to be smoothly pulled out of an outer needle hub without high processing accuracy being required.SOLUTION: An indwelling needle assembly 1 comprises an inner needle 11 with a sharp needle tip 11a at its tip, and the inner needle 11 is inserted into an outer needle 13, at a base end part of the outer needle being provided an outer needle hub 14. In an inner hole 24a of the outer needle hub 14 are disposed a protector 4 and a hemostatic rubber 3. The hemostatic rubber 3, positioned nearer to a tip side than the protector 4, seals the inner hole 24a. The protector 4 is disposed in an inner hole 14a of the outer needle hub 14, with a protection part 40 opened. The protector 4 moves together with the inner needle 11 as the inner needle 11 is pulled out toward a hub insertion opening 24c, the protection part 40 being closed by a ring member 60 fixed to the outer needle hub 14. The protection part 40 cannot be opened when closed with the needle tip 11a placed in it.
