AIR FILTER MOUNTING/DEMOUNTING DEVICE FOR CEILING INSTALLATION TYPE AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique regarding an air filter mounting/demounting device for a ceiling installation type air conditioner, for allowing outer frames on the two opposed sides of an air filter outer frame to be securely locked to a body panel and then removed from the body panel with simple operation.SOLUTION: A sliding claw is formed integrally with an engaging piece, a slit-shaped cutout part and an operation part slidable along a guide shaft part, an inclined surface where the upper face of the slit-shaped cutout part is inclined relative to the bottom face of a guide flange part toward an inside lower side, and an inside piece whose bottom face can be located on the upper face of a stopper part when the air filter outer frame is released from the body panel by the sliding claw. Thus, while an air filter is avoided from being removed by operating vibration to cause the inside piece of the sliding claw to override the stopper part with the dead weight of the air filter, the air filter is allowed to be easily removed by imparting rotating motion to the sliding claw with normal operation to horizontally move the operation part of the sliding claw.
