PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of reducing power usage by an internal control microcomputer used in an internal control device.SOLUTION: Input information relating to monitoring input to an internal control device is summarized in an operation control device, and an internal control microcomputer of the internal control device is shifted to a low power consumption mode when an internal electric load is not operated. As the input information relating to the monitoring input to the internal control device is summarized in the operation control device, monitoring of the input information which is input to the internal control device and should be constantly monitored, can be covered by an operation control microcomputer of the operation control device, thus it becomes unnecessary to constantly supply regular electric power to the internal control microcomputer, and power consumption by the internal control microcomputer used in the internal control device can be reduced.
