Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a new automatic transmission device with four planetary gear mechanisms, four clutches and two brakes, and improve the transmission efficiency of power.SOLUTION: An automatic transmission device includes four planetary gear mechanisms P1,P2,P3,P4 of the single pinion type. A carrier P12, a carrier P22 and a ring gear P33, a ring gear P23 and a carrier P42, a carrier P32 and a ring gear P43 are connected by means of connection elements R1 to R3. A sun gear P11 and a third connection element R3, the sun gear P11 and a sun gear P31, the sun gear P11 and a sun gear P41, a second connection element R2 and the sun gear P41 are connected by means of clutches C1 to C4. A sun gear P21 and the sun gear P41 are connected to a case 2, an input shaft 3 is connected to the second connection element R2, and an output gear 4 is connected to a ring gear P13 by means of brakes B1,B2. As a result it is possible to configure an automatic transmission device that can shift to ten forward gears and a reverse gear.
