Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial method capable of manufacturing a bicyclic amine compound serially and stably.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of obtaining a bicyclic amine compound such as quinuclidine by intramolecular dehydration of a hydroxyl group-containing cyclic amine compound represented by the formula (1), where Rto Rrepresent each independently a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, a hydroxyalkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or a hydroxyl group, and X represents a carbon atom or a nitrogen atom, in the presence of a solid catalyst in an atmosphere coexisting with ammonia in a gas phase.
