PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently peel off a printed layer and an adhesive layer without increasing conveyance resistance or hindering conveyance.SOLUTION: A label forming device 1 comprises: a roll housing portion 4; a platen roller 66; a printhead 61; a peel-off plate 200 that folds a peel-off material layer 3c of a printed tape 3A toward the lower side of the platen roller 66 to peel off a print layer 3a and an adhesive layer; a first discharge port 6A that discharges the print layer 3a and the adhesive layer to outside an enclosure 2; a pinch roller 201 for conveying the peel-off material layer 3c folded toward the rear side by the peel-off plate 200; a second discharge port 6B for discharging the peel-off material layer 3c conveyed by the pinch roller 201 to outside the enclosure 2; and a rib member 300 that is provided in a section between a pinching position O at which the printed tape 3A is pinched between the platen roller 66 and the printhead 61 and a supporting position Q at which the printed tape 3A is supported by the peel-off plate 200 on a conveyance route for the printed tape 3A, and can make contact from above with the printed tape 3A conveyed through the section.
