Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an image failure due to bent discharge of a liquid injection head, and to keep the bent discharge to be equal to or smaller than a reference value.SOLUTION: An inspection method includes: a step of applying an excitation wave having an amplitude that makes meniscus have a maximum fluctuation at a time of discharging an ink droplet and an inspection wave used for normal printing and having a minimum amplitude; a step of measuring a bending amount of the discharged ink droplet by application of the inspection wave; a step of determining whether the bending amount satisfies a preset criterion; a step of selecting a new inspection wave from among candidate waves prepared in advance to replace the inspection wave by the new inspection wave if it is determined that the bending amount does not satisfy the criterion; a step of applying the excitation wave and the new inspection wave; and a step of measuring the bending amount of the ink droplet discharged by application of the new inspection wave. |
