CUTTING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting machine capable of cutting work timber of various sizes without use of a patch or changing the fluctuation lower limit position of an edge support part.SOLUTION: A fence 3 is fixed onto the upper surface of a base 1, and the fence 3 has a first stair part 31. On the upper surface of the base 1, a guide 13 is arranged at a position in the front of the fence 3 and faces the fence 3. The guide 13 has a second stair part 32. The first stair part 31 and the second stair part 32 oppose mutually. The first stair part 31 descends toward the side of the guide 13, and the second stair part 32 descends toward the side of the fence 3. Individual stairs of the first stair part 31 and the second stair part 32, other than the uppermost stairs, are at the same height. Work timber is supported, according to its size, on the upper surfaces of the base 1 and a turn table 2 or one of the stairs of the first stair part 31 and the second stair part 32, other than the uppermost stairs.
