Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehydrating concentration method and an apparatus each aiming at space conservation by decreasing, based on dehydrating concentration, the volume of a treatment target slurry by removing liquid components therefrom by using capillary phenomena.SOLUTION: The dehydrating concentration method of the present invention is a method having the following characteristics: a treatment target slurry 11 stored within a storage tank 12 is dehydrated by absorbing humidity therefrom by using a capillary medium 13 inducing capillary phenomena; the water content within the dehydrated slurry 11 is exported out of the storage tank by the capillary medium 13 based on the capillary phenomena; the treatment target slurry 11 within the storage tank 12 is dehydrated and concentrated, and the volume of the slurry is decreased as a result of the reduction of the water content thereof.
