Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless motor capable of precisely detecting a rotational position of a magnet rotor by increasing leakage magnetic flux in an axial direction while suppressing reduction in the amount of effective magnetic flux contributing to rotation of a magnet rotor.SOLUTION: A brushless motor 1 includes a magnet rotor 5 which has a ring magnet 10 fixed to an outer peripheral surface of a rotor core 8 and is supported rotatably, and a stator 4 which has a plurality of teeth 3 opposed to the ring magnet 10 and is arranged radially outside the magnet rotor 5. Further, the brushless motor 1 includes magnetic sensors 11 which detect a rotational position of the magnet roller 5 based upon leakage magnetic flux of the magnet rotor 5 leaking in an axial direction. Then a short-sized part 20 which has a short radial dimension is formed at an axial end part 10a of the ring magnet 10 facing those magnetic sensors 11.
