INFORMATION MANAGEMENT METHOD AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily managing registration and update of a telephone number to an electronic telephone directory stored in a server.SOLUTION: An information management method determines whether identification information on a second terminal device, which is a call originating terminal or call incoming terminal, is registered with a list used by another first terminal device which is either a call originating terminal, a terminal device having originated a call, or a call incoming terminal, a call destination terminal device, among lists stored in a storage device connected via a network and including identification information, which is used for communication between terminal devices and allocated per terminal device, and if it is determined that the identification information on the second terminal device is not registered with the list used by the first terminal device, requests the second terminal device to give permission to register the identification information on the second terminal device with the list used by the first terminal device, and when receiving permission from the second terminal device, registers the identification on the second terminal device with the list used by the first terminal device stored in the storage device.
