PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a stored secret key from being acquired by a third person by fraudulent means.SOLUTION: A fiscal printer 16 for storing fiscal data includes: a main control unit 25 for generating a secret key K2 related to a public key encryption system and a public key, generating an encryption key K1 for encrypting the secret key K2, encrypting the generated secret key K2 with the use of the encryption key K1 so as to store the secret key in a fiscal memory 50, and storing the encryption key K1 in a RTC volatile memory 30a; a fraudulence detection unit 35 for detecting a fraudulent access; and a key erasure unit 36 for erasing the encryption key K1 stored in the RTC volatile memory 30a, when the fraudulence detection unit 35 detects fraudulence.
