PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation support system that enables a user to perform correct operation with no error by allowing the user to correctly grasp an arrangement mode or a shape of an operation object virtually arranged on an operation surface.SOLUTION: A vibration reference value is set for a coordinate system of a touch pad on the basis of an arrangement mode or a shape of an operation object virtually arranged on the touch pad, the position of a touch point where a user touches the touch pad is detected, the position of the touch point in the future for each vibration period is predicted on the basis of a history of the detected position of the touch point, a displacement mode of the vibration reference value due to movement of the touch point is predicted on the basis of the predicted position of the touch point, and the touch pad is vibrated in accordance with a waveform based on the predicted displacement mode.
