PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation support system, an operation support method, and a computer program that enable a user to perform correct operation with no error by allowing the user to correctly grasp an arrangement mode or a shape of an operation object virtually arranged on an operation surface, and prevent unnecessary processing in a situation where it is not necessary to allow the user to grasp the arrangement mode or the shape of the operation object.SOLUTION: A vibration reference value is set for a coordinate system of a touch pad 7 on the basis of an arrangement mode or a shape of an operation object virtually arranged on the touch pad 7, the position of a touch point where a user touches the touch pad 7 is detected, a displacement mode of the vibration reference value corresponding to the position of the touch point due to movement of the touch point other than flick operation is specified, and the touch pad 7 is vibrated in accordance with a waveform based on the specified displacement mode (S10, S11).
