Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic sensor capable of improving the detecting accuracy of a detection object, and obtaining a sufficient output.SOLUTION: As shown by figures 1(a) and (b), a magnetic sensor 1 is roughly configured of: a first magnetic 2 having a first leg part 21 and a second leg part 22 disposed so as to face each other in a base part 20; a second magnet 4 disposed in a region sandwiched between the first leg part 21 and the second leg part 22; and a magnetic sensor element disposed in at least either a right or left region when an end face 211 of the first leg part 21 is positioned at a lower part and an end face 221 of the second leg part 22 is positioned at an upper part outside a sandwiched region 25 where a magnetic field formed by the first magnet 2 and the second magnet 4 changes according as a magnetic substance 6 approaches and separates.
