Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas discrimination device with a cheap and handy structure that can discriminate a type of a gas with high accuracy.SOLUTION: The gas discrimination device comprises: gas sensors 1(1A, 1B and 1C) with a gas sensing unit 4 and a heater 5 heating the gas sensing unit 4; voltage impression means applying voltage of square wave of a predetermined cycle for the heater 5; and gas discrimination determination means (microcomputer 13) discriminating and determining a type of a gas by detecting a transient response achieved by applying of the voltage of the square wave from the gas sensing unit 4 and based on a feature differing with the type of the transient response gas varying with the rise and fall of the square wave.
